With the planet Jupiter going into the sign of Aquarius in December 2020, it will bring more balance, hope, community and harmony within society. We now have Pluto and Saturn transiting through the sign of Capricorn. Pluto brings corruption to the surface so that it can be exposed, and transformed. Saturn is responsible for restructuring anything that no longer works for the greater good of humanity. We are in a time of massive change, and it’s so important not to let fear of the future take a hold of you. It is a time of great transformation where humanity has the opportunity NOW to balance the Ego and the Soul. The more people who work at this, the easier this transition is going to be. The Ego is of the Mind and it’s function is to protect the body against harm. In western culture the Ego is over used and it creates the idea that humanity are separate from one another. Not true! All negativity comes from the Ego mind – unfounded fear, greed, manipulation, weilding power, stand over tactics, deception, violence, arrogance – the list goes on! The Soul is Love, kindness, compassion, true power, calm, peace. Each living soul needs to make a decision as to whether they are committed to work on this balancing, and to bring themselves into harmony. When people operate purely from their Ego mind, you can guarantee they are not happy campers! Even if they are very materially wealthy! Western culture encourages those who live within it to operate from the Ego mind – but the Ego mind is never satisfied. It is the false self, whereas the Soul is the true self. Now we do need a degree of our ego mind to function – simply in order to protect the body. During these next few years the transition to a better, fairer, more loving way of life will be easier for those who choose harmony and balance.
The words “Shaman” and “Shamanism” are bandied around in our modern culture, and so it’s important that people understand what they truly mean, and what the real, and authentic, Shaman is all about. If not, people get conned by the new ager who has done a weekend course in Shamanism, and then runs around telling anyone who will listen that they are a Shaman. They don’t know what they are talking about!!
In ancient times, the position of a Shaman was highly respected and rightly so. Often, although not always, there was a lineage in the family and so the initiations and learning were taught, experienced and mastered over many years. Many Shamans were born into it and it was their Destiny.
The path of a true Shaman is not for the faint hearted. A true Shaman is taken down into the depths of the Underworld – and in our modern times this is about being in the depths of soul wounding often experienced as severe depression and hoplessness and this can last for years in many cases, and without much if any support from family or friends. The TRUE Healer often experiences at least a certain period of their life in this state, then as they master this they come out of the deep dark period into a state of re-birth with their natural empathy even more emphasised – and this combined with their first hand knowledge and experience makes them wonderful, natural healers/counsellors/therapists/Shamans. This process also balances out the ego mind – the least helpful, if not devastating quality of a Shaman/healer/therapist is if they have an over inflated ego and it’s “all about them”! These people will not heal others, even if they have all the training in the world. The reason is that they lack not only empathy, but also first hand experience of the emotional and soul pain required to be a true Shaman or Healer. You can’t learn this from books or a weekend workshop.
As the father of Psychotherapy, Dr Carl Jung, stated: “Only the wounded healer heals his patient. The doctor just wearing a white coat (only having the mental knowledge without the experience) has no effect”.
A true Shaman is pure of heart, most often is an older soul (only about 15% of the world population are older souls), has a great sense of responsibility – so the last thing they are going to do is charge you an absolute fortune for a 2 days workshop and then promise you after that, you are a Shaman.
Shamanism cannot be marketed – not in it’s true and pure sense, and it’s very important that the public understand this. The ancient Hindus stated in the Kali Yuga predictions that humanity need to be aware of all the False Prophets (new agers on the bandwagon offering very expensive workshops with no substance to them) particularly during the years of 2012 – 2036.
The following is an excerpt from one of the best and most factual books I have ever read “Family of Light” by Barbara Marciniak.
“A truly fine healer understands that reality always delivers its messages, and that lessons land first in the emotional field and then in the physical body. Initially you may have a mental idea and then emotionally experience it, yet it occurs in the field of your energy because it is a spiritual lesson. The energy around you that we refer to as Spirit, ether, or the energy of life, can either command you or obey you. Sometimes this energy commands you to deal with situations, or possibly an opportunity is presented through adversity or loss. Cleverly disguised messages are hidden in every aspect of living. A true healer can sense the messages in your field and work with you before the energy turns to ailments in the physical body. The discomforts and dis-ease that may move through your physical body are there because they were not addressed with them while they were in the mental or emotional body, or in the ethers. We ask that you please listen to the messages; the lessons Spirit wants you to experience. Ideally your empathy will grow through your own experience and this in itself is a great lesson in living”.
The ancient Hindus long ago worked out the following cycles. You will see there is great accuracy.
KALI YUGA — THE AGE OF MATERIALISM
During the Kali Yuga cycle, humans are the least evolved, spiritually and intellectually. People are generally only able to focus on material things, and live lives of ignorance. During this cycle, most Truth was destroyed, to be replaced by dogma, false philosophies and charlatans. Greed and selfishness through materialism almost destroyed Earth.
Religion was rigid, and intolerant. Few people knew higher spiritual teachings, but could not come into the public arena about the Truth for fear of being persecuted or killed.
DWAPARA YUGA — THE AGE OF ENERGY
Dwapara Yuga, the age we are living in now, is referred to as the age of energy. In this age we are better able to understand and harness energy than in Kali Yuga. In this Dwapara Yuga, technology is booming and all sorts of new philosophies are surfacing although many do not carry the Truth, e.g much of the new age movement has snippets of truth but is in no way truly holistic. Dwapara Yuga people are extremely self-interested, and so their motivation to achieve is usually selfish. And there are higher ways of perceiving the universe than just reason. In Treta Yuga, we learn how to use our intuition.
In Treta Yuga, we understand that everything is interconnected. Most people will have strong powers such as telekinesis, mental telepathy, and humanity will be peace-loving and compassionate, for the most part. It will not necessarily be more technologically advanced than Dwapara Yuga, but certainly more spiritually advanced. Being more spiritually advanced, we may actually leave technology behind and choose to live more simply and naturally.
The biggest difference that separates the lower two yugas, Kali and Dwapara, from the upper two, Treta and Satya, is self-interest. People in Kali and Dwapara Yuga are often greedy and live only to benefit themselves and sometimes their family and friends. In Treta and Satya Yuga however, people understand that we’re all connected and will work for the good of everyone as much as for themselves.
SATYA YUGA — THE AGE OF SPIRIT
Satya Yuga is currently incomprehensible to us. This is the age when we will be so spiritually advanced, that God himself is part of our everyday experience. We will be able see God in everyone and everything. Our intuition will be completely developed, and will we lives of happiness and natural simplicity. We will understand the nature of the universe, and be able to communicate telepathically to anywhere in the world. People will be able to communicate and live in harmony with each other as well as with the animals and nature
The cycle of the yugas is not currently accepted in Western science, there is plenty of evidence for it that is known to the West, but currently ignored. We need to hold the Satya Yuga cycle as an example of how we should behave: in harmony with nature and the rest of mankind, treating everything as if it were a part of ourselves, because, underneath the surface of life, it is.
“There is the path of wisdom and the path of ignorance. They are far apart and lead to different ends …. Abiding in the midst of ignorance; thinking themselves wise and learned, fools go aimlessly to and fro like the blind leading the blind. What lies beyond life shines not to those who are careless or deluded by wealth” Tibetan Book of Living & Dying
At other times and other civilisations in history the path of spiritual transformation was confined to the minority. In these times, a large proportion of humanity must seek the path of wisdom if the world is to be protected from all the dangers that threaten it. In these times of violence and disintergration, spiritual transformation is essential to our survival as a species.
Our society is dedicated almost solely to the celebration of the ego and materialism, and it celebrates the very forces of greed and ignorance that are destroying Mother Earth. The society in which we live seems to negate any idea of sacredness and at the time that our planet is in it’s most danger we as human beings find ourselves at our most confused and trapped in a nightmare of our own creation.
A source of hope is that the spiritual teachings of all the great traditions are still available today. This is the path to Wisdom. Sadly there are very few authentic teachers who embody these truths. There is almost a total lack of discrimination in those people who are searching for the Truth. Western culture has become a haven for spiritual charlatans, and without the guidelines and criteria of a fully fledged wisdom culture, the authenticity of so-called spiritual teachers is almost impossible to establish. Today it seems that anyone can portray themselves as a guru, and attract a following. No where more so than the New Age Movement which is a relatively new religion, invented in the 1980’s by governments when they saw the public drop off more conventional religions due to sheer disillusionment. The New age philosophies contain much false information and are incomplete doctrines that are based on very little truth. Many “leaders” who promote the new age doctrines not coming from a pure place in the heart; many are con men with massive egos who don’t really care about humanity, but they are very good at saying they are.
Trust your intuition; trust how you feel around people, rather than what they say. Let this be your guide to the Truth
