Intent is very important. Karma is created by the intent behind the action, and not the action itself. If we do something with good intent and it doesn’t work out, we learn from the experience but there is no “karma”. If however we do something that appears to be positive, but has an ulterior negative intent behind it, there will certainly be a karmic reaction that will lead us into a situation in which we face what we have done to another.
