I would love to share with you a fabulous quote I came across today. It is a direct quote by Carl Jung, one of the founding fathers of psychotherapy, in his book “The Wounded Healer of the Soul”. “The doctor is effective only when he himself is affected. Only the wounded physician heals. But when the doctor wears his character like a coat of armour, he has no effect”. A great quote, don’t you think? It really does apply to any person in all the healing/health professions!
