Ancient Hindu Predictions for the Planet at this time

I recently found these predictions for this time in history, by the Ancient Hindus as a part of the Vedic Texts they wrote several centuries ago.

I am sure many of you can relate the statements below to the current times we live in.

It has also been predicted – by the ancient Hindus, the ancient Mayans, and the beautiful ancient Native Tribes from the Americas that we are are the verge of a new and better cycle on our planet.  There are some wonderful books by Ken Carey: “The Return of the Bird Tribes” and “The Third Millenium” that will give you deep, yet clear, information on our current times and the better times that are ahead for us in a few short years.

Despite all of these dark prophecies, there is one good quality in this age of Kali yuga:

“Although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: simply by chanting the names of Krishna, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom.” (Source: Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.51)

When a person has found permanent Joy, even without depending on money, or any external objects, that should be the better state.
Wise people with satvic quality, their wants are very limited. They live a simple life with high moral values. Their purpose of life is more spiritually oriented than materialistic.   Hence their financial needs are minimum.

The people with Rajasic quality, though generally good in nature have unsatiated desires and are at times greedy and they represent the majority of humanity at this stage in history.  They will have to undergo the trauma of emotions when they are not able to match their desires and fulfillment.

The third state is thamasic quality (demonish) one who does anything to live a comfortable life. Killing people, looting the wealth of others, molesting woman for pleasure, power mongers etc… They go by illegal and unethical ways and thus end up in eternal misery and bad karmic effects in the future lives.

One has to gradually elevate themselves to Satvic quality and try to realise the knowledge of real and eternal bliss reducing the dependence on objects. There seems to be no other way.

Most people feel they need so much money to buy fancy cars, second houses, vacations

The real business of life is how to elevate -as yourself, the real
spirit soul, back to home, back to Godhead.”
